(b) Persons under the age of 18 with the consent and direct supervision of their parents or guardians. All transactions made by a person under the age of 18 under this Agreement will be deemed to have been approved by their legal guardian or parent, and such legal guardian or parent will be responsible for all activities conducted by such person under the age of 18. Section 1107(a) of the FY 2014 NDAA creates two new direct hiring powers. In addition, Section 1108 of the 2009 NDAA, Public Law 110-417, as amended, established direct hiring authority for qualified candidates with a graduate degree. The objective of direct hiring authorities is to provide a streamlined and expedited hiring process so that LRS can successfully compete with the private sector and academia for highly qualified scientific, technical and technical talent for GS and demonstration project positions. STRLs may use the direct hiring authority for fiscal year 2015 authorized under Section 1105 of the NDAA to appoint students pursuing bachelor`s degree or graduate degrees in STEM disciplines for a limited, limited and flexible period of student time or, for STRLs with modified appointing authority, through modified appointments. STRLs may use the authorized FY 2016 agency under Section 1104 of the NDAA to offer SSEP students non-competitive conversion to permanent academic or technical positions upon graduation, provided that the students meet all Office of Personnel Management (OPM) eligibility and qualification requirements for the position. 12.4 In the event that Z2U is required to disclose in any manner due to the requirements of any applicable law or the regulations of any stock exchange or securities trading system or a court of competent jurisdiction, you must promptly notify Z2U in writing prior to any disclosure sufficient in the circumstances for Z2U to seek a protection order or other appropriate remedy. You agree to: (i) disclose only the minimum information required by law and, at Z2U`s request, use commercially reasonable efforts to obtain confidential treatment of Z2U`s Confidential Information to be disclosed and, if it chooses, allow Z2U to take such steps as it deems necessary or desirable to challenge or otherwise dispose of such disclosure. blacken or minimize; and (ii) full cooperation with Z2U.
New appointments under this authority cannot be made after December 31, 2019, unless Section 1107(f) of the NDAA for fiscal year 2014 is amended. For SSEP students appointed for a period of at least one year, an appointing authority is created for student semesters of flexible duration. The date of a flexible semester does not have an end date, but ends 120 days after the end of the scheduled academic program, unless the Human Resources department has been notified of the conversion to a permanent position upon receipt of a request for personal action (SF-52). The admission criteria for the date of study must continue to be met for the duration of the appointment relationship. HSEP participants who complete a training program and continue to meet the definition of “student” in section 2.II.B.3(a) while pursuing their studies will not count towards the direct recruitment assignment to 2.II.C.5 as a new appointment. 22.4 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this clause, email notification does not apply to any law, notice, claim, demand, suit and/or proceeding. Personnel measures for the appointment of SSEP officers are documented by citing the first Code of Legal Authority (LAC) / Legal Authority Z2U / Public Law 103-337. The second legal authority is Z5CD/Direct-Hire Auth (STRL-Student), Section 1105(1)(a)(3), Public Law 113-291, 19/12/2014. LRS may introduce new direct hiring authority to appoint qualified candidates enrolled in a bachelor`s or master`s degree program leading to a bachelor`s degree or higher in a scientific, technical, engineering or mathematics program and convert them to competitive service on a non-competitive basis. LRS may appoint students for a limited, temporary and modified time (for STRLs with a modified schedule) or a flexible length of the student semester expiring 120 days after the end of the designated program of study. Students may also be appointed on temporary, temporary or flexible semester dates at the discretion of the STRL Director. Students hired under the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Student Employment Program (SSEP) may receive a relocation incentive/bonus each time the SSEP student returns to service, similar to the authorization granted to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at 75 FR 53076, August 30, 2010. 4.1 All purchase agreements are concluded strictly between the respective seller and the respective buyer to the complete and absolute exclusion of Z2U. Z2U makes no representations and/or warranties of any kind with respect to the Goods and/or Services and Z2U shall not be liable to you for any costs, losses, damages, claims, fines, penalties, liabilities and/or expenses arising out of the Purchase Agreement, including, but not limited to, negligence.
