Learners can use this course to eventually become qualified lawyers via the CILEx pathway. While this path is for lawyers, paralegals can stop at Level 3 and claim CILEx membership as an associate member. There are several strands that learners can focus on if they have a specific area of law in which they wish to specialise. This course leads to the CILEx Level 6 qualification. These sessions are designed to provide students with a better understanding and insight into the requirements and expectations of CILEX exams. Preliminary case study documents for the June 2022 practice papers are available below. Learners who complete their CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice can register to become an Associate Member of CILEx (ACILEx). CILEx has provided practical tests for Level 3 and Level 6 units to help you prepare for your exams. However, as this is a Level 3 qualification, it is recommended that learners who enroll in the CILEx Level 3 Diploma have at least 4 GCSEs (including English language or literature) or equivalent. The organizations, individuals and scenarios included in these case study documents are fictitious. Each unit is completed by an assessment. For the law and practice units, this takes the form of a final exam organized by CILEx in June and January. For units of competence, the assessment is based on courses. November at 7pm With a CILEx Level 3 professional degree in Law and Practice, a learner could become a qualified paralegal, fee payer or clerk Suggested Answers Level 3, Suggested Answers Level 6 We recommend using Google Chrome as it is the browser you will use in your live exam. On average, a learner should spend two years completing CILEx`s Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. There are exceptions for learners who have completed subjects such as an A-level in law. For more information, see the CILEx exemption page here. Access to the CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice is open to all learners and there are no formal entry requirements. An additional exam and membership fee must be paid to CILEx. The purpose of the tests is to help you familiarize yourself with the online system. It`s understandable that at first you didn`t feel safe to use the system and move towards hands-on testing. For this reason, it is important that you use the tests as often as necessary to develop your confidence and understanding of the system in preparation for the September exams.

There is a wide range of resources to help you prepare for your exams: Learners taking practical exams for the first time in June 2022 – The center`s tutors will discuss the case studies with their learners before the exams, at a time during the conduct of the course where the tutor feels that the learners are ready to review the preliminary case study documents. There will also be a clean/unsophisticated copy of the case study material attached to the review.
