Below are the rules for participating in the Contemporary Art Gallery`s monthly online art competitions and exhibitions. Please read the rules and procedures so that you can apply them correctly. Please try to follow the theme of each monthly contest as this is the most important aspect that the artist should consider. Events in this contest may be advertised and promoted on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, but participation and management of the contest will be via email. Contest winners can also be announced on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our USUN website. However, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are not partners or sponsors of the contest. Entrants are reminded that by entering the Contest and uploading content to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, they are bound by the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Terms of Use, as well as all agreements with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter contained therein. Except as prohibited, each entrant agrees that all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Art Contest or any prize awarded will be resolved individually, without recourse to any form of class action, and exclusively by the court of competent jurisdiction in Maryland. All questions and questions relating to the interpretation, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, the rights and obligations of entrants or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Art Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maryland, without choice of law or conflict of law rules. this would result in the application of the laws of a jurisdiction other than Maryland.
The contest starts on Monday, December 9, 2019. Entries can be submitted between Monday, December 9, 2019 and Sunday, January 26, 2020. All photos are subject to pre-selection by the Contest Sponsors to ensure compliance with these Official Contest Rules. Photos that do not conform will not be published. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to ultimately verify whether a potential finalist or potential winner has fully complied with these Official Contest Rules before posting on the Contest page, awarding a prize, recognizing a winner, etc. Judges: The jury of the competition is composed of staff from the United States Mission to the United Nations. Evaluation criteria: Artworks should explore the theme UN@75 “The Future We Want, the United Nations We Need: Reaffirming Our Collective Commitment to Multilateralism.” All conditions: including prices, fees, prices, requirements and rules are subject to change without notice. Contemporary Art Gallery Online (the “Art Contest”) is open to all artists in the United States and the District of Columbia, as well as abroad, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.

Please read and make sure you understand the authorization and time procedures to enter our monthly art contest. • Entries must follow the theme of the contest. • The competition is open to all artists in 2 and 3 dimensions. • The competition is open to amateur and professional artists.
• Photography and digital arts are included, but video is excluded. • The competition is international. • Artists aged 18 and over can apply. • Files must be in JPG format. • Files must not exceed 1 MB. • Images cannot be captured • No artwork previously posted on the LST website can be resubmitted. • Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome. • There is no limit to the number of images an artist can submit.

Each media category has a first, second, third, fourth and fifth place, as well as five honourable mentions. There will be special recognition awards for each media category. News about the participation of each winning artist will also be emailed to the more than 28,000 subscribers. Those who subscribe to our newsletters include gallery owners, corporate art representatives, art collectors, and fine arts decision-makers. • By having their work on the LST website, winners should raise awareness of their work, improve their professional resume, and create a high-quality backlink to their own website. • After the end of the art exhibition, the exhibition remains in the LST archives every month for 5 years to be visited by website visitors and promoted by the artist through his personal art portfolio. • LST will promote the winning artists from each exhibition via email, online press releases, online event promotions and social media marketing to art collectors, art gallery owners and directors, and related art professionals. • LST also promotes artists in the Special Merit and Special Recognition categories and lists them in the archives at the end of the exhibition in which they are included. ENTRANCE FEE: The entrance fee is $18.00 for 1 to 2 entries and $26.00 for 3 to 5 entries. For each art competition, there is an early registration and a reduced registration fee (with the exception of the solo art series and any special art competitions we organize). In addition, the gallery offers student discounts for artists who have an EDU extension for their email address. Please see our offers for such discounts and entrance fees on our submission page. The entrance fee includes the New Mexico Gross Revenue Tax. There is no refund of entrance fees.
